Fasting Mimicking Diet, tried and tested!

I’ve had my head down for a bit, you all know how MS messes with your life - so I hope you’re all well and I’ll try to catch up with what you’re all up to. Pre-trial last year, I did try out the mimic fasting with some unexpected results, so I’m back on it now

No, it’s not a cure but we all knew that anyway, but please do check out my blog as I feel like this is quite an important one!

Hi there Sonia. Stick at it.

MS is a strange problem. When a persons own immune system attacks itself. Helping yourself fight the battle is far better than making yourself weaker. Diet, exercise & keeping your spirits in check is what’s needed. Anything else is irrelevant.

Have a fantastic day & treat yourself.

Terry, I’m just about to So far today I’ve had half a pot of Watmuff & Beckett Pea and mint soup, with two slices of buttered gluten free toast and one cup of real coffee - I’m thinking I might have a mini Magnum as I’ve been v. good today

Hello Sonia.

A very informative account.

I’ve always been a devotee of the 1000 calories a day principle and it’s worked quite well. I think I’ve lost about three stone over a year and three quarters. Unlike you, I come from a long line of fatties and I do like a drink. I see the drink as a nightly award for getting through the day. As a result I tend to stick to 1000 calories for five days a week. And yes, there has been some improvement in my overall demeanour.

Keep going.

Best wishes, Steve

Thank you for making me giggle Steve

I’ve noticed another improvement and I’m too scared to mention it for fear of jinxing it!

I guess you have your yummy stuff at the weekends, so I hope you have a very yummy Easter!
