You say that you dont have an MS nurse as you are SP and they dont deal with that. That is not correct, so I would contact your local MS society, or GP surgery and find out how you can access your local one (assuming there is one available). You should be able to get some support, not only for the ESA but generally. Phone the MS helpline as well, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Hi Bonnie, the MS nurse down here can only deal with paitents who are on DMDs cos she has far too many paitents. That’s what I was told anyway, but i don’t know if that’s true or not. When i went to my appointment in may 2011, to show me how to self catheterise, i was told there was no choice which brand of catheters i was given, but when i went and did my own reasearch, i found that was loads of choice, they just don’t tell you, so who knows xxx
