dull pain across the base back of my head

hope that heading makes sense.

I keep getting this, and when it comes it slows my thinking at the whole of my body down tremendously. Does anybody else get this?

Hello poppyseed I’ve never had this problem myself. Does your gp know about it? I think you should check this out with your doc, just to be on safe side. I notice your on warfarin…are your inr’s ok? Take care Noreen xx

I am having problems with my INR it keeps going to high. Approached GP on changing to the new drugs but he would not entertain. Seeing Anti-coagulant nurse later today so I will mention this to her.

I’m glad your seeing the nurse, best to get this checked out. May have nothing to do with your warfarin but I’m sure your aware headaches can be one of the side effects of a raised INR Some GPS irritate the pants off me…some care more about their budget. Sorry if he/she had a good reason :slight_smile: Take care xx

Yes, I suffer with a pain in lower back of Neck on left side.

None of my meds help with it.

Hi Noreen,

Yours suspicions where founded. I started with a TIA at about 11am on the 8th, just got back from hospital and guess what the consulatant changed my meds to the new co-agulant, which my GP would not entertain. Unusually the INR had fallen into range as I had it checked that day before taking myself to A & E.

I’m really sorry to hear about the TIA and I hope things are improving, now that your meds have been switched.

I know you won’t feel well enough at the moment, to put a complaint in, about your gp but perhaps you could think about it, when your feeling a bit better. I can’t bear the thought that this man will get away with his lack of care.

PLease take care of yourself…I hope you have family/friends supporting you.
