Has anyone tried Dantrolene to treat muscle spasms/pain? I’m running out of non invasive medicinal options to treat my stiffness and pain.

Hi Kat,
Yes I’ve been taking Dantrolene for several years. I also take magnesium occasionally when I get cramps in my lower legs.

Not heard of that one. Did you try the usual baclofen first?

I’ve tried and failed most of the medications. My doctor’s have implied that if this one doesn’t work then I might have to consider having a pump fitted.

HI Kat.
My wife takes dantrolene and has been for a number of years. It has helped her as she suffers greatly from spasms and stiffness and all the pain that comes with it.
A while back there was a misunderstanding at the pharmacy and a delay of three days occurred before her repeat prescription came in and her spasms / stiffness intensified so they do work.
