l do read some of the posts on UK HSCT MS and Auto-immune diseases. lt is a facebook group. Someone has just posted that he found out that his critical health insurance pays out automatically on a diagnosis of MS. lt is one of four illnesses automatically covered. He is thrilled - as the money will pay for his HSCT - treatment.

Hope this is correct - as it could make such a difference to anyone who is facing decisions about giving up work because of ill-health.

As I understand it, MS is an automatically-qualifying condition under most critical illness policies.

If I had my time again, I would have ticked ‘yes’ rather than ‘no’ when the mortgage people asked whether I wanted to pay a bit extra to have one, that’s for sure!
