OMG,
Had the Oxford AstraZeneca jab yesterday at 3.30pm, everything fine last night, however, today is a different story.
Woke up this morning feeling a bit under the weather but as the day has progressed. I feel worse, I can hardly lift my legs, I feel absolutely shattered, feel really weak, have a thumping headache and my lower back is very stiff .
Even my hands feel really “muffled”. like numb inside but not on the skin.
Surely the jab couldn’t do all this ?
It can and does to some people. My daughter 12 hours after it was very ill for about 24-36 hours she likened it to swine flu that she had years ago.Luckily she feels ok now but she felt very ill and was in bed all that time, shes dreading the 2nd jab she said while she was ill that no way was she going to have the 2nd dose but knows she would be silly not to.
Sadly, these side effects do not appear to be uncommon.
The most frequently reported adverse reactions were injection site tenderness (63.7%); injection site pain (54.2%), headache (52.6%), fatigue (53.1%); myalgia (44.0%), malaise (44.2%); pyrexia (includes feverishness [33.6%] and fever ≥38°C [7.9%]), chills (31.9%), arthralgia (26.4%) and nausea (21.9%). The majority of adverse reactions were mild to moderate in severity and usually resolved within a few days of vaccination. By day 7 the incidence of subjects with at least one local or systemic reaction was 4% and 13% respectively. When compared with the first dose, adverse reactions reported after the second dose were milder and reported less frequently.

Hi I think there are more side effect with the astra zeneca vaccine. I had the pfizer one and the only problem was a sore arm.
hopefully the side effects will go soon, A
Feeling a little better but not much. Hope you are Jactac? Still in bed. Anne
I had the astrazenca jab on Wednesday at about 11am - by about 9.30pm got a temperature and then stiffness in upper body, back and arms and leg spasms. Couldn’t stand up. Temperature was OK following morning but still wobbly. Arm is tender at the injection site.
Its a really good job I was already watching tv from bed when I first got the symptoms as there is no way I could’ve moved from my chair to the bed for the night! Dreading the second jab already…
Friday temperature up and down, cold then hot - paracetamol helped. Injection site still red and tender to touch.
Saturday and Sunday hot and cold and nausea…
Monday feeling better but still a bit warmer than normal
Hope this helps.
Its now coming up to 48hrs since my jab and things are settling down.
Yesterday was horrendous, couldn’t lift my right leg, hands were knumb, aches all over, headaches, one minute shivers next too hot.
My main worry was my MS symptoms were off the scale.
Today is like chalk & cheese though.
So if anyone is on the fence about having the jab, go for it, but bare in mind you may have similar side effects, but these will pass.
Jactac, glad to hear you are better. So am I. Just today I feel fine. I think we both had quite adverse reactions? I will have the 2nd jab.
Keep well.

I had the AZ vaccine on Friday and had a weekend of horrible fatigue, nausea and arm so sore I couldn’t do a lot with it. Better today so I’m definitely over the worst of it
Btw I have the flu jab every year a get zero side effects - EVER!?
Had the AZ jab at abut 2pm yesterday. Was OK for most of the day but started with bad headache early evening. Had a restless nights sleep (which is unusual for me). This morning I feel like I’ve gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Muscle aches and joint ache. Slight headache still but that is going. Injection site is tender and bruised.
It’s all a bit unpleasant but I would imagine not as unpleasant as having Covid for real.
Bring on the second jab then we can start to end the lockdown thus enabling me to stay at home for no reasons instead of mandated ones.
Following on from my last post yesterday I got worse as the day progressed. By about 8pm I was pretty much unable to walk with any confidence, I was trembling and unsteady for everything. Really struggled to get upstairs to bed and then I was so fatigued when i got there I was unable to undress properly. My legs and arms just wouldn’t work.
Overnight I went from shivering uncontrollably to sweating like a mad man. A very restless night indeed. Today I am feeling considerably better than yesterday. Not back 100% to where I was 2 days ago with some lingering aches and pains but well on the way.
If the last 24 hours was a little taster of what having Covid may be like then I strongly urge everyone to take the vaccine. I really don’t want to feel like that ever again.
I had the AZ vaccine on Friday afternoon. Overnight I was OK. Saturday, morning I got up had a bath, got dressed, sat down on the bed to put on my socks and decided that all I wanted to do was lie down - I was seriously fatigued. No temperature though. I had achy joints and muscles, glands under my armpit on the vaccination side were a bit painful too. Spent most of Saturday and Sunday lying down, fatigued, had the radio on very quietly in the background, but didn’t actually listen. Monday morning rang in sick and then slept through to midday. After that started I to feel more normal.
Hopefully the second AZ vaccine will have fewer side effects - that seems to be the typical pattern people are reporting. The Pfizer one seems to be the reverse - first vaccine virtually no side effects, second one with side effects.
Hey All,
Same here, RRMS, Tecfidera, AstraZenica, and HORRENDOUS symptoms for 5 long days. But over now, thank God for that. Does anybody have any views or insight as to what the second one may be like? The same? Better? Here’s hoping Ziola is right!
Thanks
Since this is a mass experimental trial with unknown side effects and the supposed virus (which has never been isolated or proven to exist) is with all available data as deadly as catching a cold, even with the cooked books on it’s lethality, it would be medical quackery when one is already ailed by a mystery condition that doctors do not even understand to take this experimental gene therapy.
The Astrazenocide jab is being banned as we speak in dozens of countries worldwide.
I’ve had the 2nd Pfizer vaccine and no problems with either except a sore arm for a couple of days. I think the reaction you get is similar to the reaction you had first time but as least you know what to expect and that it only lasts a few days. Its better than having covid!
Take care
For those interested, here is the truth.
Vaccine safety is of paramount importance and we continually monitor the safety of vaccines to ensure that the benefits outweigh any potential risks.
It has not been confirmed that the report of a blood clot, in Denmark, was caused by the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca.
The Danish, Norwegian and and Icelandic authorities’ action to temporarily suspend use of the vaccine is precautionary whilst they investigate.
Blood clots can occur naturally and are not uncommon. More than 11 million doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca vaccine have now been administered across the UK.
Reports of blood clots received so far are not greater than the number that would have occurred naturally in the vaccinated population.
The safety of the public will always come first. We are keeping this issue under close review but available evidence does not confirm that the vaccine is the cause.
People should still go and get their COVID-19 vaccine when asked to do so.
Had the AZ vaccine - slightly sore arm for a day or two - fine after that.
