Hello lovely’s
so I’ve had tingling feet for just over a year, the past couple of months it’s moving up my leg, it’s like a low watt voltage going through my feet and legs and it’s constantly there. I get twitches in my legs and arms also i suffer a eye twitch, I get awful fatigue, and also tinnitus that been with me for 2 years, it’s a high pitch ringing that’s always with me. I get popping and clicking also. my vision seems blurred and memory is so bad I have to look back on in my diary to see what I was doing the day before. I was sent for a mri for my tinnitus originally as it’s affecting my quality of life in a massive way. But I can’t help but think I have ms? Unless it’s just some sort of major heath anxiety I justdont know what to think anymore? Anyone ever suffered tinnitus with ms? I know it isn’t a usual symtom but I’m curious to know if anyone here suffers that symptom.
thanks for reading
Zoe
Hello!
Yes, I have tinnitus w/ my MS. I think it’s actually a more common co-morbidity than most think.
If you still have concerns about your health then definitely go back to your GP for a check up and a referral to the Neuro team at your local Hospital/Clinic. Never hurts to run more tests!
I`ve always imagined tinnitus to be dreadful …like some kind of torment nagging at you all the time. I am deaf in one ear, which can be an MS thing. Hang in there. Do you have any appointments coming up?xx
Hi Zoe
Like you I have not been diagnosed but my symptoms are very similar to yours. I also get the ear ringing (one ear) which appears to be a less common MS symptom (although I am happy to stand corrected). The ear ringing would only last a minute but it was with me for a couple of hours last night before I was able to get to sleep and then it was gone in the morning.
I agree with Boudica to get the neurologist appointment and push for MRI’s. It might also be worth getting your blood work done which I have just done (awaiting results). My Neurologist said these types of symptoms can be caused by a Vitamin B12 deficiency so that test (including the folate level) would probably be worth getting done.
Kind regards
Jonathan
