Copaxonne and pregnancy

****Hi there A few months back I have been diagnosed with RRMS. It came as a shock to me and has been such a tough year. I had my second child in December 2019.

I am due to start copaxonne injections next Friday and I’m very scared. Has anyone used this treatment and if so did you have any side effects? I’m also debating on having one more baby but I am scared to start the treatment as I don’t want it to affect me trying for another one.
Hope to hear back from someone soon would be such a help for a lady in a lot of worry

There is uncertainty about whether someone who is pregnant should stop/continue with copaxonne. If you are planning on having a second baby I wouldn’t start with copaxonne - wait until baby is born.

You don’t want to spend the whole pregnancy worrying that the drug is affecting your baby.
