I’m getting some conflicting information right now from the Copaxone site, and the Shared Solutions nurses. The nurses said not to inject at a 45 degree angle, while the copaxone site says it’s perfeclty fine in low fat areas (like the back of arms).
Has anyone switched from 90 degrees to 45 in their arms, and if so, did it make a difference?
hi bryan
i found it really easy at first.
gradually the injection sites became painful.
after discussing it with my ms nurse i started to skip injecting my stomach.
then my thighs became a problem so i started to skip those.
eventually i switched to tecfidera.
i cannot tell you what degree angle i used especially at my hips and back of arms because i could not see them.
does either angle feel more painful?
if not i don’t suppose it matters, as long as you are injecting daily (or 3-4 times a week) and rotating the sites.
good luck with it because i felt well on copaxone.
