I’m seeing a neurologist soon, however could a consistent cough be a sign of MS?
Not that I am aware of. This might help though.
I didn’t think so until I looked it up. Apparently it can sometimes be a result of MS but from what I can tell it tends to be later on. As my MS Nurse tells me ‘ don’t assume everything is a result of MS and get it checked out your GP’.
If you haven’t done it already then I would definitely see your GP. A persistent cough can be a symptom of many things - some more serious than others
Thank you for replying. I’ve been to the GP about the cough (currently awaiting neurologist appointment to find out why I’m having arm spasm and pins and needles). They’ve done chest x rays, brain MRI and CT, blood tests…. All fine…. The GP is baffled by what’s causing the arm twitches, and the cough. I’ve not been diagnosed with MS but the GP keeps mentioning it and that the neurologist will test for that. So I’m just curious (and anxious)
