cloudy vision

hi,

can anyone tell me whethe cloudy vision can be part of MS? I’ve heard of optic neuritis which I don’t have but I intermittently have what I would descibe as “cloudiness” of my vision.

Many Thanks

Blurred vision can be part of MS, but I’m not sure if that’s what you mean? Visual disturbances that come and go maybe more likely to be migraine I would think? People with MS can have temporarily blurred vision when they get too hot or overdo things though.

Best to see an optician or, better, an ophthalmologist to have it checked out.

If you’ve lost peripheral vision, you need to see someone as soon as possible and not wait until your next appointment. Your GP can refer you to the eye hospital to see an ophthalmologist (ideally a neuro-ophthalmologist). I’m rather surprised your optician didn’t do this :frowning:

Neurologists don’t know all that much about vision, so it would be best to see an ophthalmologist too.
