hi l was diagnosed a year ago and on tysabri, l have lesions in brain and spine, last MRI one month ago said no new lesions. Past week l have lower back pain , l dont know if its just normal back pain or MS. l am worried if its a new lesion or inflammation and do nothing like my MS nurse said because MRI scan one month ago was good thats very unlikely. l dont know if l should do nothing and not worry about it like my MS nurse said take further action like ask for another mRI scan or ask for steroid treatment. THe last MRI scan didnt use contrast dye, does that mean it might have missed something

Hi @jjim335 Don’t always think things are down to your MS, I would see a GP to rule anything else out first, then if they come up with nothing go back to your MS nurse and see what she/he has to say, good luck,

I only have my own experience to go on, but in 25 years nothing that MS has done to me has felt as if it could be something else. So in your shoes my first thought would be, it’s something else.
I’m glad to hear you’re on natalizumab. I’ve been on it for 15 years and it has stopped my highly active RRMS in its tracks so far. 
I hope that it does the same for you.
