Autonomic Dysreflexia in MS

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this. My husband stared having full body tonic spasms 3 weeks ago. A hospital stay and several meetings with neurologist we believe it could be autonomic dysreflexia brought on by infection. He had antibiotics for 14 days in the hope it would treat underlying infection but we haven’t found where or what the infection is. He is still having these spasms every 4 hours day and night lasting for 1.5?hrs where he struggles for breath and deep breathing techniques help but his body is really suffering as can’t get out the chair. Urgent spine MRI tomorrow and diazepam to treat and reduce severity. Hopefully still some sort of infection and not more lesions. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks
