Am, I being a hypochondriac

Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help.
So recently I have had a lot of pain in my legs. I had burning sensation at the top of the leg wake me up through the night. Tingling and numbness in hands and feet. I It’s impossible to get to see a Dr I spoke to them over the phone and they have put it all down to me being type 2 diabetic. However that is very well managed and I have lost a lot of weight. Someone mentioned Ms to me and after researching the symptoms I have come to realise I actually have a fair few of the symptoms but now feel like I could be over reacting. I don’t like my Dr’s and wouldn’t want to feel like a hypochondriac but also concerned about the symptoms

There is nothing worse than feeling like a hypochondriac when you feel something is wrong.

The best thing to do at this point is to phone your doctor and say exactly what you just said in your message. That you don’t feel this is diabetes as you feel you mange it well and you are worried that it could be MS.

In the end this is what I did.

Hi, do you have a Diabetes nurse you could ring and ask the question to?

Or is there a different GP you could ask to speak to?

Be careful about thinking you may have MS, as it does mimic a lot of conditions.
