Alinker

Hi everyone.

Please delete this if not appropriate. I’m new and not really a forum user, but wanted to put this out there in case anyone was looking, as I’m not sure where else to put it.

I’m going to be selling my Alinker through a proper, protected site, probably eBay so all parties are covered, and I know they’re expensive so just wanted to let people know, if they were thinking of getting one. It’s only two months old, so would be selling for about £900, which obviously is still a lot, but it saves a few hundred pounds off the original price and shipping from Canada. I just can’t get on with it. I really thought I would, and I tried so hard, but it’s just not happening, so I’m hoping to sell it and use the money to buy a more suitable mobility aid.

If anyone is interested, I’ll let you know when it’s up for sale.

What’s it for/do?

It’s a walk assist bike. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to put links, but if you Google Alinker bike it should be the first thing that comes up.

They look like a really good idea. A bit like a balance bike for adults. As they are not common in this country it is difficult to know if they would be helpful. I decided not to pursue the option because I live in a hilly area and the reviews said this would be a problem.

Difficult during lockdown to try out equipment especially important for more expensive items.
