Walk aide

I have a hardly used walk aide for sale. I bought it for £2,000 2 years ago but never really used it. You can google walkaide for more info. It is great for foot drop. Yu will have to get it reprogrammed to suit you. This costs about £100. If you are interested, let me know and we can negotiate price.

Some years ago l did buy a Odstock Fes - lt was successful ‘some’ of the time - but l found the wires and the control box a nuisance. lf you did not get the pads in the right place it did not work properly - and everytime l rushed to the loo l had to watch out l did not let the box drop into the loo!! So the wireless WalkAide does look a better option. l would like to ask you why you have not used it yourself. And how much you were asking for it. l shall be seeing a neuro next week and l was going to ask if he thought l could be referred to a orthotist about getting a WalkAide - but l think l know the answer already!!

l do use a SAFO - which l have had for some years - but l think the WalkAide would actually stimulate the nerve/muscles and improve mobility…

Hi I have issues with my balance coupled with very weak hips! My knees also buckle a lot so there wasn’t much point trying to walk without being able to stand :frowning: I would like for you to perhaps try one out at the orthotist first. If it works for you there, then you can make me an offer. No rush. Just send a private message. Y
