Hi, I’m on here as I fear I have the first signs of ms. I don’t know if I’m suffering from anxiety but I’m also having panic attacks because of so many different sensations. Every week I’m feeling new sensations which drives me to thinking more about ms. I hope you can share any of these with me. I started getting tension building up in my forearms and wrists which when I rubbed my tensions, it made my hand twitch. These can be quite bad a times and can hurt if I practice deep relation techniques. After I spend time to relax it goes away, but the next day it’s back. I also have been getting freezing cold hands, at any time of the day even it arm places. It’s some times so cold I lose feelings, even with gloves not does not help. Old at hot drink or hand Warner’s. I also had this vibration feeling deep inside all of my body which felt as if I was shaking in my nerves. Not actually shaking so due notice but just buzzing inside. A few weeks ago the tension feeling hit my feet and legs for the first time. It was not nice. It went away but for some time after my my feel felt like they wow anted to have a shaking fit. It was very weird. Three days ago my thigh went numb when laying down on the floor, and it’s now happening when just sitting down, without legs crossed. This does numb and is by tingly to touch. Slightly painful after it get the feeling back. My gp says its prob stress or anxiety, but he sent me for a neurologist consultation for peace of mind. I used to get funny episodes where my eyes would go funny and I could not focus, everything became bright and I would feel like I’m having and out of body experience, still able to move but almost like in third person…strange I know. Feels like I’m on my own as anxiety forums just can respond to my posts but this I hope will be better support.
Hi Sorry to hear how anxious you are feeling. Everyone experiences different symptoms and from what I understand, the symptoms can cross a wide range of illnesses etc. I’m only recently diagnosed so not as clued up as most on this forum. I would say the main thing is that you have been referred to a neurologist. At least you may get some answers Best of luck, L x
H, hopefully the neurologist will be able to shed some light on what`s going on.
MS is just one neurological illness of hundreds.

Hey, try to hang in there. I am pretty much in the same boat as you right now. I have been experiencing MANY differant things for quite some time now off and on for the past almost 8 years and they cannot figure me out still. I am finally awaiting an appointment at a very large university for hopefully better assesment.I have “bouts” of stange things for example…Severe eye pain, double vision…multiple eye doctor appointments lost vision from 20/20 to 20/80 in a week. Was shopping and completely lost all vision in left eye (talk about scary) at first I thought I was fainting. Then few days later bent down and when I stood up this huge electric shock sesation down my neck into my back and then all of a sudden for the next 6 hours i could not turn my head to the right, was like someone placed an immaginary wall there. Went to the emergency room and was told they were unsure…everything was normal test wise and i needed a neurologist (I feared I had a stroke) I another time was having severe eye pain again after 4 opthomologists later because they all said nothing was wrong with me they found i had posterior scleritis. After a round of steroids (eye drop kind) I was better. I had visual evoked potentials done which came back abnormal. said delayed latency along pathway. I also had multiple abnormal visual field test…has improved the doctor said. I have problems falling fairly frequently and also within the past 2 and a half years severe bowel incontience. I get tingling sensations and other times I feel like i am itching all over and there is no rash or skin irritation at all. I am currently experienceing something new going on, where I am having a burning feeling in my hands, feels like they were dipped in hot wax. comes and goes nothing provokes it or stops it. I also have a tight burning squeezing sensation in my chest area from my collar bones to above belly button…sometimes goes into both arms or other times into my legs only to my thighs. I still experience the bowel incontience however. The last “episode” was the vision loss thing and last me 3-4 weeks and then felt fairly okay other than bowel problem that seems to hang around a lot, some knee pain and SEVERE charlie horse pain in my feet. those always are with me pretty much. I have not got an official diagnosis of MS however two docs have mentioned as a possibility and recommended further workup. A neurologist i seen sent me away told me to take aspirin to prevent a stoke? what??? My GP thought that was crazy and is sending me to the university. So please don’t feel alone. Don’t get discouraged it they blow you off, find someone who will listen and help you.
