due to have fourth infusion of ocrevus on Monday. I live in tier 4 area and been told that I am clinically extremely vulnerable.My ms nurse seems quite nonchalant about it saying you don’t know when you will get the vaccine anyway.surely lowering my immunity at this time is not a great idea, but had last infusion at the peak in summer.CONFUSED

This the MSS advice.

Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) and fingolimod (Gilenya)- Ocrelizumab (Ocrevus) may reduce the response to some vaccines by up to 50%. It may be beneficial to delay your first course of ocrelizumab in order to get the vaccine first. In general there would be limited benefit in delaying a second or third course in hopes of increasing vaccine effectiveness. We would have similar advice for anyone receiving rituximab.
