Started on treatment over 3 weeks ago but have gained 1lb/week since. Know this is the lesser of all evils but worried it’ll continue! Anyone else experience this? I’m a dietitian and personal trainer so know how to manage my weight but this has perplexed me!
Sorry, no idea. I was on Avonex for 7+ years and it had no weight effect one way or the other.
Shot in the dark: is there any chance that getting started on a DMD (and, by implication socking it to MS!) has made you feel more in control of things, and that this has reduced anxiety that might have been depressing your appetite a little?
Anyway, I hope that the Avonex suits you. It did a good job for me for a long time.
