I have recently discovered that a fellow veteran was diagnosed with MS 3 years ago and is in receipt of a war pension because the Mutual Support group (I think) were able to trace his symptoms back to his basic training days in 1995. Now, I know that I too had early signs and symptoms of MS while I was serving in the RAF but I had no idea that I would be able to apply for a war pension. I signed up in 1995 too and was diagnosed with the condition in 2008 but nobody told me there was a support group for veterans.
Can anyone add any links on here that offer support to ex-service personnel? I’d be very grateful if you could.
