Vitamin D Dosage.

Sewingchick - Yes, your right - much higher levels of D3 are now not considered to be toxic. D2 is the one to watch - as this can cause problems. And the tests at the GP’s often add the d3 and d2 together - just to confuse you. l hope l can get my levels higher.

I want to start taking 10,00 IU of D3 using a spray. I now realise I need to take magnesium and vitamin k2. Does anyone know how much of these I should take?

Thank you space jacket for the info about the private laboratory. I would be interested in knowing my B12 levels too. I used to get B12 once a month and then without a word to me ( I am after all only the patient) my doctor reduced it to once every three months, claiming my blood levels of B12 were high enough. I objected and we compromised at an injection once every two months. Some weeks ago I had been exhausted every day. The district nurse turned up unexpectedly. At least it was unexpected to me as I had lost track of the days. As I mentioned being so very tired, the nurse said at once “Oh that will be the B12” and gave me my shot. After a day or two I found I had more energy.

Thanks space jacket for the info about the laboratory. It would be good to have an accurate measurement of my D3 . I have recently got a D3 spray and am about to use it. It will be so much easier to use it than take tablets. I will take 9000 IUs every day. And I will get magnesium and vitamin k2.
