Florence how would anyone that knows you, know for a fact that any of the posts you’ve made, regardless of whether it’s a personal matter about peeing or what film you’re going to the cinema to watch, know that it’s for definate you? There’s a lot of people with ms on here and believe it or not, I’m sure there’s more than one Florence here too. If that’s even your real name?? Who’s to say it is…?? That’s the beauty of being online… you can be whoever you want to be, or not as the case may be…
1st rule of the net, never post anything you don’t want anyone knowing. its there forever so the best thing to do is not use a name or post details of your life that can be traced back to you if you don’t want it to be. most forums are searchable and forever, and the ones that are really hard to find when searching are usually the ones you generally don’t want to know even exist. when it comes to facebook, most people don’t have it as locked down as they think they do. anything posted online IS available for the whole world to see, thats how the net works
The original pretty blue forum was very open. There was no wall or privacy.
When the second ‘new’ forum was activated, it meant that some of us could excavate very old posts and carry on arguing. I think it’s a nice and restful place now. Arguments are fun to watch at first and then you find yourself waking up at midnight and realising that there’s new points that someone’s missed. It’s all electronic and virtual and walking away is the sensible thing, when that happens.
I hope you were wearing your best heels, Señor Whammel.
I’m so sorry that you’ve been ‘trolled’. You do realise that these people can now be located and prosecuted by the police, if you report it? Even text messages are admissible in court nowadays. The majority of trolls are children who haven’t been brought up to have respect for themselves or anyone else - why do you care about their opinion? Please ignore the ignorant great unwashed - if you don’t know them and they died it wouldn’t matter to you, so don’t let their words hurt you. Remember, their opinion has no relevance to you or your life.
As a past victim of bullying, I must say I’m a little concerned that a troll managed to get past the powers of sanction on this site though. What happened to ‘your post has to be adjudicated before the post appears’? Or is that only for the original post and not replies?
Here’s a giant MS birdie to the lot of them! Keep your chin up - I (and others) need your experience/words on this site.

Sorry peeps,
You cannot lawfully keep something like this from your employer. I’m sure we all remember the bin truck driver in Glasgow that killed all those people because he lied about his condition?
Different condition - still a possible danger to the public. Are any of us prepared to kill to bring home a wage?

Hi Stewart,
No offence but, ‘trolling’ is ‘vulgar, hateful and in violation of good morals or practice’. This should never have gotten through to ‘Flo’ in the first place. If you need extra eyes for the protection of these wonderful (to me) people, you have my email and we may be able sort something out.

Guess what?
My name is AMANDA SIAN TAYLOR, I’m 38 and live in COLNE, LANCASHIRE. I’ll take on any troll and have them prosecuted. Bring it on ar$sholes! DO YOUR WORST!

He lied to the DVLA and that is a criminal offence. His condition precluded him from obtaining a driving licence.
The law now has changed and employers are not allowed to ask about medical conditions. You only have to disclose medical conditions if it directly affects the position. Employers are not even allowed to ask your age now.
