I used to do warm before and cold afterwards. I find the needle goes in smoother if my skin is warm.
Best thing to do is to try all combinations till you find the one that works for you.

I used to warm the skin for Copaxone simply because I thought… room temperature injection onto cold skin ? …no and I never tried it on cold skin. I would experiment if I were you and see what suits you best.
Have been doing so much better since I took the plunge (if you will pardon the expression) and have been manually injecting the Copaxone. No bleeding, no bruising, so much quicker and easier but oh, the pain, the stinging for 20 - 30 minutes after, is unbearable and I just hope that it wears off in time.
Please can I have some tips on travelling with Copaxone, just carrying one in my handbag, without breaking it, or going away for the weekend and only travelling with 2 or 3? I have got the travel bags for taking 2 weeks supply or a month and will be taking a long trip later this year.
Does anyone have the travel sharps container from Connections and if so, can you please tell me what size it is? I did get in touch with them and after a huge battle, they finally sent me all the English patient guides. I saw that they do send out travel sharps containers so emailed them to ask the size and they haven’t replied yet.
Hi I have the travel sharp box it is about 8" x 3" x 1" it doesn’t take up much room. I have been away for a couple of nights since being on Copaxone. I just put the injections in the cool bag they gave me in the rucksack. Did take a spare injection in case there was a problem with the one I needed. Glad things are better for you. I know how you feel about the pain. Mine isa lot better now but only started injecting in my arms about a month ago and the pain is so much in them at moment hoping that will ease too. Thanks Barney, good thinking about the spare. The small sharps container that I got is 0.45L but I can get 0.2L on Amazon. No idea what they are in inches. Do you have the capacity written on yours please?
