Hi just a quick reply. Sounds like spasticity maybe? Is the stamping clonus? Sorry I can’t be of more help, but felt bad nobody had answered… Leah
I have psoriatic arthritis and ms. I get confused about which condition is causing the symptoms. / The nurse said they aren’t typical ms symptoms…but they could be…who can say they aren’t ms related? The express don’t even know what cause ms. A lumbar puncture can’t confirm or rule out ms but it can help the overall diagnosis. Plenty of people are diagnosed without a lumbar puncture. What’s happening to you, could be down to where the lesions are in your brain/spine…that’s the only thing I can think of at the moment. Good luck to you Noreen
Sorry about spelling…I’m struggling on my mobile
Thank you both for replying. I haven’t heard the term ‘clonus’ before so I will ask next time I see the MS nurse, Lelole.
Sorry to hear that you have a double whammy of ill health, Blossom. Thank you for your advice.
From the number of lesions I have in my brain and spinal column , plus a variety of symptoms that I never pieced together until I had to write them all down, I appear to have had ‘MS or something neurological’ for about 12 years. Oct last year was my first ‘relapse’. Things have been getting progressively worse since then. The wobbly leg has now become both legs randomly dropping to a squat. Maybe I subconciously want to join in with the ski slalom, or been watching too much of the winter olympics! Trying to remain upbeat but scared witless really.
