Shortest day and The Mayans

tina i just went into marks and spencers to spend the £5 off voucher they had so kindly sent me.

it was a nightmare. i couldnt find any of the food we like because it had all been moved for christmas stuff. queues like you wouldnt believe. yet the staff were still smiling and being thoroughly pleasant. do they have a valium salt lick on the way in?

now a happier interpretation of the mayan calendar malarkey -

materialism will start to decline, bankers and capitalists should also decline.

it should be replaced by human decency and helping each other.

sounds like msers will be in fashion then.

we should drink to that! i’d have a baileys but someone drank it all so i’ll have a gin and tonic

cheers, bottoms up

Did i miss it? After little research on mayans i found that we have something in common with them. when our callenders run out we start a new one! Just seen on the news people at a mayan temple celerbrating the new callender. And their was me in my bunker with canned food.

There was a Bird being interviewed at a temple full of believers in Th’appocalypse by News 24 or some such. When asked if she had bought a return flight back to the States, she muttered and then invented a technical fault saing that she couldn’t hear.

I reckon we’re safe until another loony dreams up a different load of baubles.

Knickers! My team are playing Chelsea tomorrow and I was hoping that the match would not go ahead.

But as we are still very much here, I hope that all readers will have a lovely Christmas and of course a happy & healthy 2013.

Best wishes,

Moira
