Hi Guys sorry to bore you all but ive had the day of days today, firstly got hit by the side mirror of a bus today as i lost my balance and staggered to close to edge of pavement, then my legs didnt want to work, took me ages to walk home so tied now all i want to do is sleep and have wanted to since 4pm, in such pain even my gabapentin isnt working. Sorry to go on but things are getting worse by the day i thought PPMS was suposeed to be slow.
Hi hun. Sorry to hear about the problems.
You say you wanted to sleep from 4pm…so why didnt you just go to bed and rest/sleep? I often am in bed by tea time, depending how tired I feel. It isnt giving in, it`s doing what your body needs.
I was wrongly dx`d with PPMS for 11 years, so I did learn a lot about it. Sadly PPMS can progress quite quickly, but then it can and sometimes does settle down and things arent quite so bad.
Look after yourself and try to rest when everyou need, yeh?
luv Pollx
Hi Poll, thanks, yeah i should i suppose listern to my body but i dont want it to beat me. But i get so tied i just cant deal cope with it, so your right i must rest when i need to, hope your doing ok Hun. xx
Hi Mac
Sorry things are bad for you at the moment, hope today is better for you.
I know it is something that none of us like to accept, but would it make life easier for you to use either a mobility scooter or wheelchair when you go out? Its not a case that you are giving in, it is just a tool to save your precious energy, and make life easier.
We all progress differently, and dont forget what maybe difficult today may not be so bad tomorrow.
Take care and enjoy the sunshine today, as much like ms, it could be different tomorrow.
Pam x
Hope you are feeling better. If you need sleep do it. I often get up have breakfast and go back to bed. dont appoligise on here if you cant have a moan amongst those who share the same dilemas as yourself
Hi guys thanks for the advice, yeah i thin k im going to have to accept i need a wheelchair, cant go on like this anymore just so tied all the time.
