Revimyelin: Food supplement supporting neuroregeneration

Hi everyone! I’m new here, and hope you are all doing ok in these crazy times.

I’m Relapsing Remitting since last July. Had been on Techfidera happily until was taken off it due to JC Virus concerns. Was offered Aubagio just before Covid-19 kicked off didnt want to be on meds which would mean I had to shield as I have to do the shopping etc for my 83 y old Dad. I realise that I’m very lucky to be able to make that choice.

I wanted to try and see if I could manage without DMT’s by eating an OMS Diet, and taking Vit D, Biotin and Vit. C supplements. It’s been not too bad, the main challenge is the daily fatigue.

I spotted this food supplement online and wondered if anyone else had tried it?

Revimyelin® is aimed particularly at people exposed to factors that negatively affect nervous system and who want to support the process of its regeneration. Appropriately selected components help the body to prevent destructive processes in the nervous system, occurring, among others in diseases such as multiple sclerosis or lyme.

Included in the appropriate dose in Revimyelin®:

Thiamine protects the nerves from damage, independent trials have confirmed that thiamine is involved in the formation of myelin sheaths.

Biotin is essential for the proper course of myelin synthesis. According to clinical trials, adequate doses of biotin have been shown to improve disability according to the EDSS scale measuring the degree of motor impairment.

Choline is a natural organic compound that, when crossing the blood-brain barrier, acts on the central nervous system.

Gotu Kola has the ability to regenerate axons, strengthen the cellular oxidative defense mechanism and increase brain efficiency.

Phosphatidylserine has a beneficial effect on the functions of the central nervous system, such as attention, perception and memory. It regenerates damaged cells and slows down the aging processes of the brain.

Bacopa Monnieri improves the brain’s functioning, positively affects concentration, improves memory, and acts neuroprotically.

Revimyelin® is a supplement that through the contents of the above ingredients, necessary for the proper functioning of the nervous system, supports the regenerative processes that occur in it.

All Revimyelin® components were selected, based on the current state of scientific knowledge and their proven impact on the regenerative processes of the nervous system. Above descriptions are presented in order to inform about scientific facts determining the action of specific ingredients on the human body.

I think I’m going to shell out and but a pack but wondered if anyone else has came across this, and if so how it worked for them? Thanks for reading!

Somehow I suspect this post as being a sales pitch aimed at the uninformed unfortunate people who are recently diagnosed and don’t realise that some ‘people’ take the pish out of the unwary.

Can I point out that Tecfidera does not leave you open to PML. Thus JCV antibodies are unimportant. Equally, Tecfidera is not necessarily a drug which requires that you ‘shield’ against Covid.

A post that lists all the ingredients in the pseudo-drug was probably not written by someone who has MS. If they do, and I’m utterly wrong, then I apologise. But even in that case, it’s a tad heavy handed.

Here, her, Sue. I agree. This doesn’t sound genuine.

If it sounds to good to be true, it is rubbish, do not waste your well earned money.

I am desperate to be cured and no longer buy any of these wonder cures.

The consensus 4 years ago that, at best this was rubbish, at worst, it was a marketing ploy or a scam. Has anything changed?
