Hi Lisa, thank you. Why are you being moved to 3 x weekly? Is it just because it’s as effective but less jabs? Were you offered any others initially?
Flip me, it never crossed my mind to ask. Let’s put it this way: if I was feeling a little piano after Avonex night, it was probably quite as likely that I HAD had half a glass of red too much than that it was a genuine Avonex headache.
Which does not answer your question, of course, but I think you will be clear about my own experience.

Well I’m currently pregnant so off the medication. I had a routine appt with the neuro the other day and he said it’s now safe to take copaxone in pregnancy (as it doesn’t cross the placenta) and not only that, I could move to the higher dose 3 x week if I wanted. So that’s what I’m doing, I’ll wait till I’m 7 months pregnant then go back on 3 x weekly. When you ask if I was offered any others initially do you mean medication? No, I was told my only option was copaxone (I have a severe anxiety disorder). X
Thanks Lisa, good luck with the pregnancy. It’s good that there’s medication you can still take whilst pregnant.
