Potential employers and MS

Hi everyone

I really need some advice concerning potential employers and disclosing your ms to them. I have an interview this week for a job I really would like but I am unsure of how or when to approach the subject of my ms… I have decided that the interview is not the time, I will wait to see if I get the job first, if I do, I don’t know what to say… I am currently receiving Tysabri infusions every month so I will need the afternoon off for that as well as a morning for bloods the week before, this is the only reason I need to disclose my ms. I’ve racked my brains trying to think of an excuse I could make up to explain why I would need that time off… I would rather be honest but I don’t want to miss out or have the ms held against me. (I know employers can’t do that but how would I know…?)

My current employers know about my ms, I didn’t tell them until several months into the job, at the time I wasn’t on any treatment and the ms has had no impact on my ability on my job performance.

So does anyone have any advice or previous experience on how to handle the situation, (if I get the job)…?

Thank you!!
