PIP results

Thanks Pam, J and Nina. I’m still on a bit of a rollercoaster but more ups than downs. It’s nice to see you’re all still about.

Sally it just goes to show why it’s usually the honest ,courteous, positive and motivated people who lose out. If you want to get a top rate award you have to pretend, act pathetic and have no self respect. I thought this was supposed to be an assessment of your health and needs not acting skills. It’s disgusting and these assessors should be ashamed. I wonder if they’re getting bonuses for cutting our awards… Unfortunately I can’t see it changing.

That’s the thing, PIP is not an award for a health condition, its an award to meet additional needs. The problem with my daughter was that instead of saying no I cannot walk 100yrs, I can not stand, she said I can get into town using my chair, highlighting her ability to get somewhere independently if that makes sense.
