Hey there. Actually it appears that ive finally found a neuro who wants to help!!
saw her last Friday and although she said scans are clear which I knew, she said she would get the GP to prescribe pregabalin to help some of my symptoms. Also referred me to neuro psychologist because said it could be my software that’s faulty and not the hardware. Also seeing rheumatologist this Friday in case some of the symptoms are down to CFS
soooooo, still a long way off finding out what’s wrong BUT I feel like I’ve made progress!!
on the plus side this weekend saw a massive increase in my health and I’m going back to work on reduced and restricted duties next week

EEG does seem a little wierd. I’ve forgotten all the different tests ive had as thinking over it ive had problems on and off for a long time. Before the last two years I had nearly 18months of chest pains which were fully investigated and nothing was wrong (apart from my slightly mutated heart which wasn’t causing any problems) wonder if they’re all linked in long term
Hi, I’m new to the site, just wanted to say Hi, and my heart goes out to all of you, my daughter is going thru the process of diagnosis atm, she has lesion in ms related part of brain, symptoms are typical ms, in that she has lots of symptoms listed on this site, but we’ve discharged by Great Ormond Street as advised by them its just one of those things, and not even seen our local consultant since june 14, and was told in a complaints meeting by someone who’s never examined her, that my daughters illness was all psychological…my instinct and people I’ve referred to all say its MS, but cannot make myself heard… So just got to keep going. Best wishes to all and I hope those still looking for answers, receive them shortly xx
How awful!
its a shame that all too often doctors are very rude and dismissive. Keep pushing to see doctors until they treat her right and get her sorted!!
big hugs
