Hello hive mind
I have just been diagnosed with long standing ms… but neurologist sais its not currently active so no treatment just another scan in 12 months… does this mean its relapsing / remitting and my current symptoms are residue from a previous flare up?? He didnt really say anything else… … anyone clarify thus for me?
Go back to your neurologist. You have a right to know a) what type of MS you have been diagnosed with and b) what treatment options they have for you. “Watchful waiting” is NOT treatment, it’s neglect 
Your MS Consultant will be obliged to write a report to your GP and you should be getting a copy. Make sure they are acting professionally and performing as necessary.
