Hello
My mri scan reported ‘several fairly non specific frontopareital subcortical & pereventricular white matter hypersensitivies. And That it doesn’t exclude demyelination. And that a 3 month scan is recommended. It’s been longer than 3 months (though appreciate things are stretched). Just wondering if anyone has had similar and it turned out to be something else? I have a number of other health issues and wondered what else could be causing this. Thanks
Hi Pennyb1
Unfortunately, my various lesions turned out to be MS, but a lot of other things had to be ruled out first - Vitamin deficiencies, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Lyme Disease (the one you get from tick bites) etc. Hope you get your second MRI soon and that you get to the bottom of whatever is causing your issues.
