Hi All Today I woke up feeling rather dizzy and confused more than normal. I often loss the feeling in my feet even when Im only sitting down for a couple of minutes. Earlier when I went to get up I noticed the feeling in my feet had gone, I wasnt panicked by this as this happens often and normally I do get the feeling back quite quickly normally within an hour. Still im waiting to regain this feeling. Im sitting up as didnt want to lie back down incase this prolonged the feeling come back. My partner wants me to go down to A&E to be honest hes more panicked than me. I have called my MS nurse and left a message as I got no answer. Should I just wait? I know A&E can be a nightmare over the weekend. Any advice will be appreciated Polly x

i would avoid a/e simply because its not an accident or an emergency! i suspect all they will do is refer u back to ms or neuro cos they wont have a clue how to deal with you NOW. i can understand ur partner wanting to do something but a/e is not the place to spent ur sunday afternoon/evening/night.
contact nurse/neuro secretary tomorrow.
take care

[/quote] Thanks for your advice Chocorange I was trying to explain to him that all we would be doing is waiting around, Id rather stay in my house as Im not in any pain and I would rather see if it does come back its self. Polly x
Thanks for the advice! I would prefer to wait in my own house rather than being stuck in A&E were they wont know what to do with me. Its not like I am in any pain and hopefully it will come back soon. Polly x
Hi Polly just read your story I woke up with a numb leg and feet about a week ago it’s really horrible I’ve had MS for twenty years with minor symptoms and this has knocked me. My Doctor is referring me back to a Neuro consultant . I had vertigo an MRI scan in May which left me deaf in my left ear so I am obviously having another new episode . I have read on here that the numbness will probably go away but it’s certainly unpleasant at the moment . Let’s hope we both get feeling back soon. Linda

I suffer a lot with my legs and feet cold or boiling, numb, heavy lead weights, tingles always have at least a couple of these at one time. I’ve just had to get used to it nothing seems to work for me.
Hope it’s only tempary for you
