Newly diagnosed with ms after having optic neuritis
So just been diagnosed with ms after mri had picked up other lesions on my brain after having optic neuritis which I had only 2 months ago so everything has happened so fast with diagnose…… I have never had any other symptoms of ms this is my first and so far only symptom. Will more symptoms come now? So much uncertainties right now. Hoping someone else has had the same as me. I am a 30 years old female.

I went down the same optic neuritis route to multiple sclerosis diagnosis, 24 years ago.
You have good days and bad days; always think positive: I have MS, but MS does not have me.

Yes, same here. First flair up was ON, my second one was both my hands going numb for something like 7 months. Now back to normal and I am on plegridy. That may sound weird to say, but since starting treatment, I feel better, both physically and emotionally. Talk to your MS nurse to see what DMTs they are suggesting. You are not alone.
