my pip experience

Hi Jules,

no they don’t return documents - I was told by others on this forum - to make copies of letters and send them - and keep the originals - so if they lose them I can resend more copies. I also sent everything by Recorded Delivery £6.30.

Don’t forget you need to prove how this effects your ability to do tasks - what help you get - do others help you into the car or bath.

Do you need to be pushed in a wheelchair on shopping trips, doctors etc.,.

Can you travel alone? I can’t. I have a history of falls. A common problem with MS people forget to mention.

Have you had an assessment for grab rails in the bathroom. You will need them at some point - and will gain PIP point if you have them now.

Some years ago, I had to give up my driving licence - so not fit to drive myself and dependent upon others.

It’s about how dependent you are on others. The PIP title is misleading.

Keep a diary for a week and list the things others help you with.
