MS & surgery risk research

Just read a research paper that has noticed a link between certain surgical procedures in childhood (under 20) and an increased risk of developing MS.

It suggests that people who have had their tonsils or appendix out could be up to 30% more likley to develop MS. Thought it was interesting and just wondered if anyone who is dx, has had one of these procedeures in childhood?

I had my appendix out when i was 16…
