MS nurse

Hello, I emailed my MS nurse about 17 days ago asking her thoughts on some symptoms I had a year ago and she hasn’t replied. Does anyone else experience their MS nurse taking such a long time to respond? thanks x

Texted mine over 3 wks ago, still no reply. Have app on monday with her and will definitely say. If I didnt have appointment I would call, text, email etc till I got a reply. X

I emailed my MS Nurse twice and it took her over 3 weeks to repond to my first email and I think that was because my second email was titled ‘Help’ because I was experiencing bad nerve pain and even then it was 5 days before I heard anything. I’d try her again by phone and email. x

Well, there have been Easter holidays recently, and some people will have taken the whole week, so she may not even have been there the whole time.

That aside, do you think the symptoms being a year ago might explain why it has not been treated with the highest urgency? I expect much of her caseload is made up of people having problems right now, so a query about something that happened so long ago would probably not be top of her list. Not unless you were threatening to sue or something - I take it it’s nothing that drastic?

It said on her response email she would be back in office from 14th April. They were servere symtoms and I wanted her view on them. I get the feeling I best to hold on until seeing the neuro to talk about these symptoms. Of course she would be the person to speak to if I was having a relapse, I know that.
