Hi all… Is there any questions I should be asking at my appointment tomorrow which is about starting DMD’s ? For many reasons I have to be on copaxane, and these have already been ordered. Any advice , questions etc gratefully read!!! Thanks! Jo xx
I am on Rebif and this means needing regular blood tests for liver function and a full blood count - done by my GP’s surgery. You could ask if there is anything similar you need to be aware of. Does your nurse have an email address so you can contact her with any queries in the future? Hopefully someone already taking capaxone will see your post give you a fuller answer

Luckily the ms nurses here are fab… Either on the phone or email! Didn’t know about the blood tests, so thank you! J
I am on betaferon. I also have regular blood tests every 6months when i see the MS Nurse. I was told by BUPA DMD’s instantly go into your system. Neuro told me it takes upto 10months to feel the full impact. Maybe check how soon they will take affect? Ask about the side effects for Copaxane- is there a support telephone for BUPA etc Good luck!
