Hi, has many people been to MS life that’s on in Manchester at the end of this month? What’s it like? Any good?
I was diagnosed July last year, part of me wants to go and see what its about & maybe learn something new but the other part is thinking is it too soon.
Any thoughts?
ms life was very good. i went to the last one and i’m going to this one.
there’s lots of information, demonstrations (eg cookery), stalls, scooters and the like.
some very good speakers, talking about lots of very relevant issues (such as continence!!)
do you live near manchester?
if so, i’d say give it a try.

No I live in the north east but I have family near Manchester.
What is Bart’s blog research?
Hello
I went to MS Life in 2012 and I am going to this one, I agree it was very good, plenty to find out and see. I am staying in the Premier Inn opposite the venue this time and I stayed there in 2012 this is a very good place to stay and is very handy for the venue as it was just across the road from the venue.
I am travelling up to Manchester from where I live here in Bristol on the Friday on the train, I would definitely recommend that you go, you will find it enjoyable and informative.

Thank you. I’ve decided that I’m going to go, if I don’t like it & think that its not for me then I can leave t least it will be s break away
I have tickets for both days. I think I’m looking forward to it as it would be very helpful. I’m a bit hesitant as it’s still fairly new to me, though. I live in Manchester so it is extremely close. I can walk there from my flat. I will be accompanied by my mother on the Sunday, but may have to go alone on the Saturday.
I’m hesitant too, only got DX in July, so still learning. Might learn something helpful. I think the only thing to take into consideration is that my MS is still mild and it affects us all differently
please just go!!!
the best thing about it is that you are in a huge crowd of people who understand!
it felt like a family get together!
