I’ve been recently diagnosed with RRMS and due to start kesimpta after my recent mri my consultant has transferred me to another hospital under a neurosurgeon and I have another diagnosis of lumbar spine degenerative disease for a separate issue I am yet to see him but have an appointment next month I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this or have similar problems I’m 29 and it’s been overwhelming with all the information

You got a lot to handle there. I presume the lumbar spine degeneration is a separate issue? You are quite young at 29 to get that - is more usually related with age. Have you had injuries that have precipitated it, or a job that has put a lot of stress on your back? Hope they can get that sorted or at least improved.
Hi aw thank you for getting back to me yes I’m so confused I don’t know what’s happening to me at the moment no nothing I’ve strained I can only think it could be pregnancy , and yes separate issue hopefully il find out more next month xx
Pregnancy can certainly put a lot of stress on the back.
Just take each step at a time, and hopefully things wil get less confusing once you get onto your kesimpta treatment and settle into that regime, and also when you know more about your spine degeneration and what treatments may help.
