MRI shows my MS is stable

Hi fellow MSers, just received my latest MRI results and there are no new lesions, no active inflammation, no worsening of previous issues. The MS is ‘stable’. No surprise, as my last relapse was in 2022. I have been on Plegridy since January 2024. Just wanted to share. :upside_down_face:

Very pleased for you and long may the stability continue!

How do you find Plegridy ?

The first 2-3 months were a nightmare. It’s been a lot better lately. The only side effects I get are migraine, fatigue and the injection site going red for 2 weeks. It’s manageable.

Thanks. I’ve been on Avonex for years. Feel a bit rubbish for the couple of days after injecting and my MS Nurse once asked me if I wanted to try Plegidry ( basically the same thing but injected fortnightly?). So far I’ve stuck with the weekly Avonex

I now only get fatigue/migraine for about 24 hours after I inject but the injection site stays red and itchy for about a week. Whatever works best for you. My decision to take plegridy was for psychological reasons. I did not want to inject very often.

I know what you mean. After some 18-19 years I still hesitate before pressing the button on the auto injector and it still makes me jump every time. Not my favourite activity but needs must etc
