hallo there!
I was prompted to do this post by one about dementia-like behaviour.
Well my daughter thought I was well gone yesterday!
I was in a supermarket, where there was a stand for MS, with a lady sitting in her wheelie, collecting bucket in hand.
I wondered if she was someone Ive met a MS socials, years ago. My mind must
ve been totally enveloped with this thought. So i went to speak to her and apparently, as I wheeled across the foyer, a woman with a trolley said hello and had to put her mental brakes on sharpish, in an effort not to crash into me.
I continued on my route, oblivious to what Id just done and spoke to the woman on the stand. Turned out she wasnt a local but we did have a chat. She said she
d had MS 23 years and it took 12 to get a dx…via a missed picture of 3 of lesions on her neck area in an MRI.
Mmmm, that 2008 MRI of mine needs finding again. 2 years after it was done, a neuro showed it to me believing it to be very MS like. During the following appointment, with a different neuro, the blobs
had disappeared. Mmm, very fishy!
Back to yesterday…So after our chat, I went looking for the woman who nearly mowed me down…it was my daughter…she was very concerned about my dementia-like
behaviour, she said.
Sometimes we need more awareness of what`s going on all around us, eh?
luv Pollx
