Lesions seen on scan not typically in demylinating area

I have recently been referred to neuro following various nerve pain over the year. I have always suffered from migraines however last year experienced trimergal neuralgia it was a the worst few months at the time. I recently had a mri scan and they noted a few small lesions I had none in the previous scan. I occasionally have the sensation of not being able to swallow pins and needles on left hand and foot. I am waiting for a repeat scan with contrast now. The report from the radiologist Ireported everything as normal however when the neurologist saw the scan he spotted them straight away. Are lesions normal ? I’m so confused as he mentioned Ms to me I have loads of different blood tests due too.

The lesions were not seen typically in the demylienating area according to the neurologist. Can they me migraine related?

Yes, migraines are one of many things that can cause lesions. Hopefully that is what is causing yours. Some of the blood tests will be to rule out other causes of lesions, like Lymes, diabetes etc.

Thank you for your reply. There is just so much uncertainty I had a episode which honestly felt like a stroke it came on so suddenly and then dissapeared. I am concerned that this is what I had however they were so quick to dismiss stroke . Its such a challenge to get the doctors to listen and even explaining the symptoms to them comes across as anxiety.
