Length of wait for MS nurse?

The daily living centre is on Whitegate drive just a bit south of the walk in centre and on the opposite side of the road. I went there for my balance. It’s not just MS, they deal with re-habilitation for Stroke amongst other things.

My first MRi many many years ago was at the Vic but my second was at the walk in centre Whitegate Drive. I’ve since had appointments with the specialist at the Vic and Preston, my Lumbar puncture was at Preston and then first appointment with my nurse at Preston also. I have had treatment/appointments at the living centre and at Moor park for MS related issues

It seems to be a bit of a lottery as to what and where you are given but with several phone calls and being slightly pushy I’ve always found I can get something that is mutually convenient.

@belle69 thank you for posting this! - newly diagnosed and though I am familiar with MS, I am impatient and so was wondering about how long waits seem to be for the nurses.

As my neurologist mentioned to me about DMTs but said I would need to speak to the nurse first I’ve done a little research and I really don’t know what would be best for me - I wasn’t given a lot of explanation so not even sure what kind of MS I have so hence the impatience for wanting to speak to the nurse to get more guidance
