Hi all
Just wondering has anybody heard of Lemtrada or as been on it?I have got a cutting out of a newspaper which says that it is normally used for leukaemia but as been proved to delay the onset of MS. It as helped some to walk again and regain touch and memory. It was found by Cambridge University.
Anybody got anything on this?Been on you tube to see and its a low dose cancer drug that wins early ms trial.
anybody help?
Karen
This is Campath and has been around for years under its old name. From what I remember, it is more effective for newly diagnosed RRMSers and not suitable for PPMS.
