or is it the:
Two different types of muesli, hemp milk, blueberries, bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, toast, banana, tea
Well, the nurse did say I should have a good breakfast with it! No mention of who was going to do the washing up though. Or who is going to pay for the entire new wardrobe of clothes that I will need if I keep on like this.
(I don’t actually have any side effects yet, just had a very bad night and not used to eating quite so much in the morning, so a tad queasy!)
But yay! Finally on treatment. Finally. I can hardly believe it.
hi teal
wow you really took that bit of advice seriously!
it does sound yummy.
i found that taking my tec between 2 lots of food was the best way to avoid gastric issues.
cereal/tec/toast for breakfast
main meal/tec/dessert for dinner
i’m feeling hungry now but alas i won’t be having as good a menu as yours.

Glad u are started on the meds. Hope it works out well. And what time is brunch?
That’s the problem, the more I eat the hungrier I get!
Was planning thin vegetable soup for lunch, but may rethink that.
Ah OK, I pushed it down with the banana. No side effects yet, but presume it is cumulative over the next few days.
I really want this to work so I need to be able to tolerate it, nurse said none of her patients needed the extra low dose tabs if they had big enough meals. So that’s what I’m doing
Going to have avocado on toast tomorrow.
Teal, there is so much rubbish out there about how to take Tec.
So long as there’s minimum 4 hours between doses, it doesn’t matter when you take them. I don’t do breakfast so would take first dose with lunch. Soup, sandwich, yogurt, something on toast etc
Second dose in middle of evening meal. If I forgot it or was out for the evening, I’d take it before bedtime with a snack, cheese crackers etc. Means I’d sleep through any side effects if there were any. Lots of water helps with any flushing. Taking it on an empty stomach can lead to severe cramps and won’t be repeated!
I might as well finish the bacon, eh? Been being healthy so first I’ve had for over a year. Also, I have orofacial granulomatosis, another autoimmune condition which can be the first stage of Crohns, so being extra protective of my insides.
