Hello everyone is it possible to be mis-diagnosed with something different years ago only to find out years later that
indeed it however wasnt what they first diagnosed ?, I was dx with Fibromyalgia years ago my a rhumatologist, only a quick
examination eg leg raise etc , general look at posture etc and a 5 minute check, no bloods, x-rays or scans were ever taken
when I asked what we would be doing the answer was well Im a rhumatologist I cant help you, I have been dealing with this for
years, for the past year or so my symptoms are no fibro like and life has become a living hell, I have had 2 really bad spells
and now my symptoms are getting worse and are staying with me constantly
I look forward to any help and comments
Bl…y h…ll. your examination to diagnosis with F was pants… I suggest you go back to you GP and insist shout if you have to for a referral to the appropriate specialist consultant. Hoping you succeed hugs Min xx
Have Neuro appt next week, re burning pains in legs, balance problems, eyes one going totally bad, tremors and spasms
etc etc

Hi Anon, I was diagnosed with ME/CFS 4 years ago after being unwell for 5 years and have just been diagnosed with MS. My MS nurse has told me that this is not uncommon so I guess the answer to your question is yes.

Thank you I have been suffering for years , to tell you the truth I wasn’t too pleased with the Rhumatologist anyway to leave me on my own with no support, even my GP said who is supporting you, he was astounded at the lack of support for cfs/me.fibro
