Hiya
So sorry to hear you are suffering again. It was really good news to hear you had a lovely new baby girl. You seemed so excited. I was hoping that the meds you were given following her birth would kick in fast for you.
Perhaps the steroids will kick in soon as you haven’t been on them too long eh?
Can you contact your neuro/MS nurse for a chat?
Also, would it be a good idea to contact the Citizens Advice Bureau to see what benefits you can claim just in case.
There’s always the helpline number below if you are really struggling.
I really hope that things pick up soon for you.
Shazzie x
Hi Sorry can’t help with benefits. I just wanted to send you hugs, as I understand the dizziness so well. I struggle to look after myself without the addition of two little ones. Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl. Barney
Thanks for replies my ms nurse rang me a little while ago amd said give steroids a chance to work shazzie how long does your dizziness last for do u lose balamce too? X
My dizziness only lasts a short time when it happens, usually about 30 mins but I always have loss of balance. It is there all of the time.
Steroids can take a few weeks to kick in so keep your chin up. It should get better soon sweets.
(((Hugs)))
Shazzie xx
hello luv, congratulations on the new baby…but I am so sorry to hear you arent able to enjoy her fully just now.
I wouldn`t rush into your fella giving up working just yet.
I am wondering if you could get some help from Social Services? Although that could take some time, is there anyone else who could come and help you all for a few weeks?
As your MS is the rr type, maybe the steroids will kick in and you could go into remission…I really hope so hun.
luv Pollx

Hi catmummy Hope your feeling better and can enjoy your baby. I have a 4 year old and a baby too so can empathise. My baby she’s 10 month sleeps at mums. 4 year old lives with me luckily we live round the corner. You just want to care for your kids. X
