Hi tattybear
Sorry you are having a bad time at work.
All I can say is keep a diary, record absolutely everything that happens and dont be afraid to report bullying, however trivial it might sound when you put it into words, it must be on record. Some bullies are quite clever and chew away at you, which makes you reluctant to report it because it sounds silly, a one off incident might sound trivial but if it is enough to upset you, you must record the incident… If it ever gets to a tribunal then they will need times and dates and all the details so it is imperative you keep a record of absolutely everything. Then the whole picture can be seen and believe me it changes the picture from trivial to serious bullying. Management can’t act unless there are recorded complaints so you must make a complaint everytime no matter how silly they sound. If you have MS then they should be on your side big time, the bully doesn’t know what he’s taken on!! Good on you for going to see your GP, hope you told him why you needed to be signed off. If its on your medical records as well that you are signed off for stress at work because of bullying you are covering your back.
I had a serious case of bullying a few years ago and remember it so well, pm if you want to talk, there is nothing worse than feeling alone .
